Easier to get into than the Iliad or Odyssey (especially the Iliad...goddamn boat list) but not as sustenaining...the first half is pretty great though. 5 stars bec ause Fagles translation is 9x more entertaining than the dry as balls Fitzgerald one I had to read in high school
